Cheaper Room

For the price, this was really good. The air-conditioned room was tidy and had a mini fridge and small balcony. The toilet was clean, and there were no insects in the room. The pillowcases looked dirty, though. We arrived close to 1 am. The doors were open, but nobody was at reception. We had to find our names on a guest list left out in the open and take the matching key, which was also on the desk.

It was very cheap, so I can’t complain too much, but it wasn’t the hotel I expected. The room was clean, while the bathrooms were the complete opposite. There was no working shower, just a big bucket of water and a large spoon. The service wasn’t great either. The employees asked for my passport but didn’t smile or say hello to anyone in my party.

The rooms were cheap, so you get what you pay for. Still, we had to switch two rooms twice because one smelled of sewage and the other of smoke. The sheets and beds felt a bit dirty. The water didn’t work, and there was no hot water.

The man at reception was very rude. The bed felt itchy and unpleasant, so we slept on a blanket. When we asked for another blanket, he wouldn’t give us one. There was no hot water or running water in the shower, just a big trash can full of water. The room smelled, and it looked like nobody had cleaned it in days. Some might say you get what you pay for, but this was bad. Really bad.
