The owner couple were so friendly and thoughtful, helping us plan places to visit, call to book the hot bus/ferry, and arrange a guided tour. They made us feel like we already had local friends. We'll come back after our road trip around Southern Thailand. At first, parking looked so tight in front of the gate that we were nearly ready to leave and find another hotel. Thankfully, the owner came out right away and showed us a roomy, convenient parking spot behind another gate near Me Dream. Such a relief. It was a warm, memorable stay, highly recommended.

The hosts and staff were the best part for us: kind, attentive, and welcoming. They arranged a transfer to Donsak, which we really appreciated, and my elderly mother felt comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. We spent two nights in a family room and loved it. It was beautiful, fresh, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable with excellent linens, and the room had been thoughtfully set up with plenty of sockets, a cozy balcony for coffee, and a mini-bar at reasonable prices. We left with warm, positive impressions. Thank you for your hospitality and the cozy atmosphere!

The AC was much too weak. Even after 2 hours running at full power on the lowest temperature, the room was still 28,5 degrees. That's unacceptable. Update: They offered to move me, but said the AC in the other room would be no different, so I didn't see the point. My only special request had been for a quiet room. I went to another hotel and had no AC problems there. I measured the air coming out of the units: 16° at Dream Residence and 9° at the other hotel. No wonder the room here wouldn't cool down. The AC is very, very old, so it's no surprise it works so badly.

The rooms were immaculate, clean, and spacious, and the beds were comfy. They had the air con running when I arrived, and the mini-bar prices were cheap and convenient. The wine was delicious. The staff were lovely and made me feel at home. Highly recommend!

A nice place to stay in Surat Thani. The room was basic but clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot.
