We only ate at the ground-floor restaurant and didn’t rent a room. Both the food and service were fantastic. The setting is what makes it special: the first floor works as a gallery, and you can watch them cook outside in a traditional Thai street-food style. Inside is enclosed, so it stays calm and avoids the street air and smells. We went at night, and the contrast between the lively street and outdoor kitchen and the clean, pleasant interior really worked.

It’s a little out of the way, but the stay was comfortable and extremely good value. My private room was very cheap for one night, and I had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in weeks. A great option if you want a night away from social hostels.

Good location, low price, and a kind owner. The four-bed women’s room is cozy, and there are large cages for our bags.

It’s a bit out of the way, but the atmosphere and food are really good. It’s not that far, either, if you take a Grab or have a scooter to get around. I was looking for somewhere relaxed, and this was just right.

The hostel is a little compact, but nearly perfect. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning, curtains, lockers, shower, toilet, and free coffee and water were all top-notch. Ohm, the woman in charge, is sweet and very helpful. The ground-floor restaurant and coffee shop are great, though expensive for a budget traveller, and there’s no guest discount. Highly recommend the hostel.
