This was our first visit to Surat Thani. My friend and I came from Vietnam, following the Thai Master at Wat Paa Seang Tham Koh Phangan around Surat Thani province, and stayed here to rest. It was a wonderful vacation experience. The market is very close and very large, with all kinds of things for sale, which is convenient for people staying here and visiting the area. A handy base for exploring Surat Thani. ( Huynh Do)

A good choice for budget travel, right in the centre with everything close by. It cost 390 baht in December 2025.
