Tawan Anda Garden Hotel

The manager helped us out with a discount after a taxi driver overcharged us, which was really kind. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the modern, new hotel has roomy rooms and very comfortable beds. We felt we got good value and would happily stay again.

For the price, I think this is the best option in the area, and we'd come back. It's quiet and handy for downtown, and worked well for our family. The air conditioning and shower were fine. We didn't eat at the restaurant.

Our room was clean and comfortable enough, and the front desk manager was courteous and professional. It's a good quality hotel at a low price. We were in a room facing the road, though, so traffic noise came through.

The pool was dirty, with lots of debris and algae, and the rules sign wasn't visible from every entrance. We couldn't tell that flip-flops weren't allowed, but staff yelled at us instead of giving a polite warning. The staff came across as rude, cold, unfriendly, and unprofessional throughout. When we entered the room, the toilet hadn't been flushed and was completely yellow. Highly not recommended.
