The hostel is less than a 10 minute ride from the minivan station, and the location seemed pretty good to me. I didn’t go to the islands. The beds were really clean and comfortable, with a curtain, light, power socket, locker and air conditioning. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. I got water when I arrived and fruit when I left, just because they were kind. They really try to help, and let me leave my bags for a few hours after checkout. You use a card to lock and open the front and room doors, and there are cameras. The bathroom is simple but does the job, with nice showers and a free hairdryer. There are magazines to browse, a washing machine that’s cheap to use, and machines for heating and preparing food. Definitely recommend :)

The owner is super friendly and nice, and there’s a washing machine to use. There are no towels. The recent Hostelworld comments mentioned bed bugs, but that definitely wasn’t a problem anymore. The bathroom felt dirty, though, and the blanket smelled of men’s perfume. It clearly hadn’t been washed after use and had no cover. If the blanket had been clean, I’d say the place was more than sufficient for one night before taking the ferry.

This worked as a stopover, but I wouldn’t stay longer than a night. The beds were private and comfortable, though the only blanket was a thin, silky scarf-like thing. Bathrooms were okay. There wasn’t much happening near the hostel, and the place had a strangely quiet feel with hardly any guests. Fine for one night, but I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay. Maybe bring your own blanket.

We were just stopping before the island ferry, so it was fine for a night. The place had a weird vibe and was in a strange location. They didn’t provide blankets, just a thin layer of silk to keep us warm.
