Really good value. The place is clean, chill, and has a cool retro look. It’s one of the cleanest hostels or hotels I’ve stayed in in Thailand. The old town is a bit far, but a Grab costs about 100 and a Grab bike 50 baht, so it’s definitely worth it.

There’s lots of antiques and handmade furniture, which gives the place a quirky feel. It’s a nice place, but out of the way for sightseeing if you don’t have transport. The beds are very low, just mattresses on wooden pallets.

The cafe was closed while we were there, which was a shame. Otherwise, great value: it’s clean and well designed, and the self check-in was simple and easy to follow. No problems at all.

The staff were so friendly and helped however they could. We had a great two-night stay in the hostel, with a really nice interior and a coffee bar by the entrance. Breakfast was probably the best we’ve had so far in Thailand. When we left, they let us wait in the lounge until 10:00 pm for the night train and even gave us a lovely packet of cookies for the long ride. I can only recommend this place.

Clean and comfortable, and worth the five stars. Breakfast is very good, with self-service and a kitchen available. The staff are helpful, and the cafe has inexpensive coffee and cake.
