Our Jungle House

The lake outings were a highlight. Cruising Cheow Lan Lake by long-tail boat was unforgettable, even though the hut we stayed in was very basic. Back at Our Jungle House, the setting in the jungle was beautiful, with monkeys nearby. The accommodation was simple but suited the atmosphere perfectly. We booked the three-day, two-night tour and everything was well organized. Our guide Sky was excellent, enthusiastic about wildlife, and took lovely safari photos that he shared afterward. The guides looked after us, and there was always enough food and drink. We did four safaris. The daytime jungle trip with Sky was our favorite. The night safari add-on felt crowded and touristy, but we still saw some nice animals, especially lots of spiders. When we accidentally missed the first activity, the team handled it professionally, gave us a massage to make up for it, and arranged a transfer at a good price.

The staff made the trip extra lovely. They noticed my birthday and surprised me with a cake and candles, singing at dinner. I really appreciated that unexpected attention. We joined the three-day, two-night tour and had a great time. Our first night was at Our Jungle Bungalow, clean and comfortable amid beautiful nature. The next night at their partner Keeree Warin Raft House was amazing, with a private shower and toilet, great views, and the fun of jumping into the water from the balcony. Nights were peaceful, with a sky full of stars. Meals were included, and the simple food was very good. Kayaking in the national park and seeing wildlife was unforgettable. One drawback was the private transfer, which cost 6,000 baht for the journey in and out. There was no shared option since we finished at the Khao Sok National park pier, so plan ahead.

Sky made our trip fantastic. He told great stories and explained nature and animals in a way the whole family could follow and enjoy. We first hiked through the jungle, then went out to a raft house and took a boat safari, where we saw lots of exciting animals. We were lucky to have him as our guide, and highly recommend Sky and his tours.

The treehouse rooms were clean and just right, and the staff even carried our bags there, which we really appreciated. A private beach sits right outside some of the rooms, and they’ll give you a free ride to or from the main road if needed. We had an amazing tour with Paul, who took us to the water bungalows on the lake. The whole trip was brilliant. At Our Jungle House, service was premium from start to finish, the food and drinks were great and very hygienic, and the toilet facilities were among the best I’ve seen in Thailand. Staff were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to organize transfers to my next stop. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Khoa Sok.
