The hotel’s spot is pretty much perfect, close to the beach with a shop right across the street. The rooms feel worth the price, and the staff are laid-back, helpful, and sometimes funny. English may not be the easiest way to communicate with them, though. In the bathroom, the shower pressure is low and getting the temperature right can be a hassle.

My reservation was cancelled on the day I was meant to arrive, and I had to fight tooth and nail just to get a room. Then I found bugs all over a pretty dirty, old, outdated room, and the AC barely worked. This place is legit horrible. Please avoid it at all costs.

The beach is a quick 10 min walk away, and there are some of the best dining options nearby, from high end to local. It’s a great budget friendly hotel, though the busy street right outside makes it a bit noisy. The shower water heater also isn’t as heavy duty as what you might find in the states, so keep that in mind if you’re looking to be spoiled.

It’s an older hotel than the newer places around Surin Beach, but the price is very reasonable and it’s a good option if you’re on a tight budget. The family run business has really friendly service. Rooms are clean and get cleaned regularly, and bugs are hard to find unless you bring them yourself. I’d highly recommend staying here in the area.

I had to wait an hour because my room wasn’t ready. They first sent me to a very dirty room that hadn’t been cleaned yet while I waited. Worst experience.
