Maneerote Hotel Surin

I’m having a pleasant stay. For 470 baht a night, the room is very good value, with a balcony, bathroom, fridge, and TV, though the channels are only in Thai. The plaza is a short walk away, and the train station and bus terminal are fairly close too. The cafe downstairs is very good. Wi-Fi, on the other hand, can be frustratingly intermittent.

The hotel is well placed in Surin, especially for getting to the markets. My room was clean and the staff service was very good. We ordered breakfast in the morning, but it took a long time, and the restaurant staff had some trouble calculating the bill.

The cafe serves tasty food at low prices, and there’s plenty of parking. The rooms and service are good quality, and the hotel sits in a quiet area near the city center, a good spot to rest and recharge. Accommodation is inexpensive, too. Some small room renovations and new beds could make this one of Surin’s best and most comfortable hotels. If you’re travelling to Surin, this place deserves a look. They put care into the details and treating guests well.

Speaking as Chef I, an Iron Chef Thailand and a world-class chef, I found some things impressive and others less so. Overall, the stay was okay. The staff service stood out in a good way, but I wasn’t impressed by how much importance was given to customers. I came here as a world-class chef, so please keep working to improve the service.
