The hotel is right by the Ping River, which is a lovely location, and the attached restaurant served delicious Thai food. My 550 bht room included a Thai breakfast, toast, hard-boiled eggs and instant coffee or tea. For what I paid, I got the right deal. There are rooms at different prices, sizes and amenity levels. I picked one of the cheapest, mainly because the mattress seemed reasonably comfortable; the pillow was acceptable too. It was a twin room with a TV, fridge and very good wifi, and a kettle was available on request. The dark grey paint made the room feel stark, almost like a prison. My window faced the laundry area, so there was a strong detergent smell. The bathroom was pretty poor: the toilet paper holder was far from the toilet, the shower had no curtain and wasn’t especially clean, though the water pressure was very good. The towels felt like microfiber or something similar and didn’t dry anything.

The peaceful riverside setting and welcoming staff made the meal even better. The food was fresh and delicious, and you can tell they put care into every dish. We even met the owner. We traveled all the way from the Philippines just to eat here, and it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Tak!

The place was very clean, and the staff were super helpful. It’s in a really good spot if you have your own transport. I did have to ask for a refrigerator in my room.

The restaurant’s river view is lovely, and the food there is really delicious. Staff were awesome and friendly, and the room worked well for a few days. It costs a little more than some other places, but I thought it was worth it for relaxing and enjoying good food. A real find for the price. Highly recommend 👌

We had fabulous food at this lovely riverside restaurant. Our host Parn was kind and helpful. Probably the best place in Tak.
