The river view was relaxing and pleasant, and the room service staff were kind and helpful. The room service itself was quite decent, with a good selection of traditional dishes. The rooms are large, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom quite decent. The phone in our room didn't work for calling room service or reception, and the WiFi was terrible. The place is a bit old and not particularly well maintained, but comfortable and acceptable. It's about what you'd expect from an average hotel in a small Thai town, and for the price, what more could you ask?

The views over the ping river are spectacular, and the hotel is a nice place to spend some time. Part of it is currently being renovated. Tak isn't a nightlife center, but there are nice spots to sit and have a drink or meal, including the hotel bar. Prices are very reasonable, and it's well worth a visit.

Reception and the room were good, and staying for a few days was fine. The problem was the massage lady. She had a bad attitude and offered me another service, which I declined. She got angry and said bad things in Thai. It gave the hotel a very bad reputation for me. I’d stay at the hotel again, but I won’t use the massage service downstairs. Be careful.

The pool was especially nice, and everything was very clean. It’s an old hotel, but they keep things maintained and working. The place was nearly empty while we were there, though it still had a great atmosphere.

The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and everything was impeccably clean. It’s an older place, with a mix of 1940s and 60s style. The breakfast buffet was very good, and I thought it was good value.
