K2 Backpacker Hostel

A relaxed, clean place with basic, good rooms and friendly staff. There's even a kitchen, and a breakfast place next door. You get an electric token for the front door, so you can come back whenever you like and your things are safe.

The street can be noisy until midnight, and the windowless rooms go for 300b. Still, we had a great four days here as a family. Our huge room had a double bed and cost 700b, and the hosts were so kind and helpful to us. There’s a shared fridge, kettle, and microwave that worked well for breakfast. The place feels elegant without being overdone, a nice treat for backpackers. I’d happily recommend it.

There are just a few rooms, plus shared ones for backpackers. The owner, Khun Kob, is attentive and helpful with customers, and he speaks English.

Restaurants are close by, and the bus stop is right across the road. The room was clean and had air conditioning.
