The bed was clean and comfortable, but the room didn’t match its description. There was no TV, shampoo, or conditioner, and the very old, noisy air-con kept me awake. It sounded like it came from Jurassic Park. Poor value for money; I’ve stayed in much cheaper places that were far better.

We wanted somewhere to stay while exploring Khao Lak before heading to the Similan Islands, and this suited us perfectly. It’s a short walk to the main street, with lots of places to shop, eat, and drink. The accommodation is simple, with a small garden terrace at the front for relaxing or eating. The staff were very friendly.

Seafan is a nice place, but its location is marked incorrectly. It’s on the right side of the road, not on the beach side, and actually about 1 km farther toward Khaolac center.
