La Flora Khao Lak

I felt safe and well looked after on the yacht, and the trip was fantastic, one I'll cherish. Ann and the team provided drinks and beautifully presented sweet and savoury platters, and the crew shared plenty of interesting local history as we toured the area through the afternoon and early evening. Ann communicated clearly beforehand and arranged a car to pick me up from the hotel where I was staying. I spoke with her on the excursions team to book the sunset tour on their Stella yacht. It was incredible and by far the best-priced tour in the area. We went down a small pier to meet the crew and board. Thanks again to Ann and the team!

Ann was a huge part of what made our two-week stay special. She checked in every day to see if we were all right, booked trips and events, and helped whenever something came up. She's a wonderful person and a real asset to the hotel. We also loved bartender Lee, who was so friendly and made delicious drinks every time. The beachside location was beautiful, our room was comfortable and well cared for, and having direct access to a private pool area made it feel even more special. From the moment we arrived, the service and friendly staff made us feel welcome and looked after. La Flora Khao Lak felt like a dream stay, and we'd love to return. Highly recommend it.

The food was excellent, especially the breakfast and lavish dinner buffet with its wide selection. The staff were kind, and the room was spacious and beautiful, though the broken door left a gap at the top. Even with the air conditioning on, it felt humid, and the bed seemed slightly damp and uncomfortable. I booked a couples massage for my mother and me as a gift during our August family trip. The spa had a nice atmosphere and we were looking forward to it, but my therapist left for about 10 minutes to use the restroom. I understand unexpected things happen, but the session wasn't extended or adjusted afterward. Mine also ended before my mother's, yet I was charged the full price, which disappointed me. My kids contracted Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease during the stay. We can't be sure where they caught it, but we're concerned about hygiene in shared spaces like the kids' play area and hope sanitization improves. Overall, the stay was pleasant, though I wanted to share this feedback about the spa.

My one issue was a tour I booked through the hotel. They cancelled it because not enough people had signed up, but the refund wasn't issued automatically. I've had to chase it, and still haven't received it. Apart from that, I really enjoyed La Flora. My room was large and clean, all the staff were friendly, and the pool areas were kept in great shape. There were lots of breakfast choices, and eating mine on the beach was lovely.
