Aleenta Phuket - Phang Nga - The Leading Hotels of the World

The people here really made the stay special. Everyone was attentive, helpful, and super friendly. We had a beachfront ocean-view suite with a private pool, which I’d especially recommend for a couple. Some of the outdoor structures could use a little work, though, as the salty sea air has taken its toll. The spa has plenty to offer, including Thai massages, floating sessions, and facials. We found the treatments very relaxing. There’s a good range of local and international food and drinks at "The EDGE" restaurant, plus a Michelin-mentioned restaurant with five- or eight-course menus, either fish and meat or vegetarian. The resort is a peaceful retreat north of busy Phuket, about a half-hour drive from Phuket International Airport. It sits right by the beach, with beautiful sunsets. A lovely place to get away.

The beach service was a standout. Staff brought water quickly and were so attentive, the kind of service other hotels could learn from. The beach is lovely and uncrowded, and the housekeeping team was friendly and did a good job. We really liked the setting at Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa, and the room was spacious and generally in good shape. Still, a few things needed attention: only one of the three pool lights worked, the faucet came off the first time we used it, and the bathroom door wouldn’t lock. We were also short on bath towels when we arrived. It took three calls and around two hours to get them. Mosquitoes were everywhere during the day. Given the dengue risk, we expected more frequent pest control or fogging. It seemed to happen only once or twice a month, and we got quite a few bites. There also wasn’t much visible management around the property. More on-site management with international experience would be welcome. The staff we met were polite and friendly. Breakfast was the weakest part of our stay. The service seemed overwhelmed, and some of the made-to-order dishes weren’t convincing, though lunch and dinner from the kitchen were noticeably better. The buffet was disappointing, mostly convenience dumplings and congee. There wasn’t much muesli, no walnuts or yogurt, and the fruit was warm and sometimes gone. Other than the “smoothie of the day,” the juices were industrial rather than fresh. Tables were only quickly wiped and often still had remnants of the previous guest’s breakfast; the seat cushions weren’t very clean either. Ordering food through the website, which requires a login, was awkward. Replies in the chat could take a long time, and it was confusing to choose between in-room dining and the Edge restaurant. The website’s tray pickup request never worked, so dishes stayed outside until housekeeping came. The Thai food was delicious and properly spicy, though they could make it milder if asked. Delivery sometimes took over an hour, and food occasionally arrived cold, so it was a mixed experience. Even with those issues, we enjoyed our time and would come back. The hotel has a beautiful beach, a good price-to-performance ratio, and plenty of potential, though some parts don’t currently feel five-star.

Quiet evenings, beachside mornings, massages, and sound healing all made it easy to unwind. I really appreciated how the staff paid attention to food preferences and lifestyle choices, along with all the other little details. Aleenta Resort & Spa Phuket felt calm and private, away from the usual crowds. The villas are beautifully designed and fit in naturally with the surroundings. What I’ll remember most is the warm, personal service. It was a special wellness stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

Jeab was a huge part of what made our Phuket trip unforgettable. From the start, the Sales Executive was helpful and enthusiastic. She patiently talked me through different proposal options and helped me plan the perfect surprise for my now fiancée. At sunset, she even helped capture photos and videos herself, then turned them into a lovely keepsake video to end our trip. The whole Aleenta Resort team was warm and friendly, always greeting us with big smiles. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend it for genuine hospitality, sunshine, and a memorable stay.
