Caesar Palace Hotel

If you’re over 5ft 5, don’t stay here. The bathroom mirror and sink are ridiculously low, and the shower head is far too low too. I’m 6ft4, and my head was almost touching the ceiling when I was in the bathtub. The water was a funny colour as well. The bed and room were fine, so it might suit you if you’re Thai or small. They showed me another room, but it had the same problem. In three months of travel, this was the first hotel I had to leave. Good luck getting my money back too.

The location is hard to beat, right across from Central Pattaya mall, with lots of places to eat, night markets and the beach just a short walk away. Caesar Hotel Pattaya feels classic but is very well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff kept everything in great shape. I had a great two-night stay, and would highly recommend it for a convenient, hassle-free visit to Pattaya.

The room was dated, but clean and tidy, and the location is perfect. I had to fix the widows in my room to stop them shaking in the storm. When I went to reception to report the issues, the staff had changed and the information hadn’t been passed on. If I hadn’t taken photos, they would have accused me of damaging their towels. The cleaner also claimed I’d taken a small towel from the hotel. I showed her it wasn’t one of theirs, but they still reduced the number of daily towels. Own up to your mistakes. I’ll think twice about booking here again. It was my first time staying here, and the ratings would have been higher if check-out day hadn’t brought them down.

Breakfast was good for what we paid, and most of the staff were kind and accommodating, especially the cleaning team. One older woman at reception came across as a bit rude in my experience, though the others were nice. The hotel itself feels somewhat run down, and the Wi-Fi was so poor that I had to use the SIM card I bought. I also learned the hard way that the hotel is on a one-way street, which makes it harder for Grab or Bolt drivers to pick you up.
