We’ve stayed here twice while climbing at Crazy Horse, and it feels like staying with a friend. Malila is such a kind, wonderful host. The crag is only a 10 minute walk, and the local market and 7-11 are down the street, an easy bike ride. Bikes are available, and the kitchen is handy for cooking up anything you bring back from the market. The aircon units are comfy too. Great for climbing at Crazy Horse, which has awesome tufa, face climbing, and wild caving without crowds. On a rest day, bike out to the hot springs.

Malila made our 10-day stay so memorable. She's a lovely lady with loads of character, and even taught us some Thai, showed us how to cook her favourite dishes, and gave us bananas. We had everything we needed as rock climbers. Crazy horse crag was a pleasant 20-minute walk away, and the local markets just a five-minute bike ride. Malila had three bikes for us to use. I highly recommend staying here, and her bubble tea shop is a must-visit!

We spent 3 nights here while climbing at crazy horse. It's a quiet, perfect place to stay, and Malila was super kind and ready to answer questions about the area. She went out of her way to help us sort transport around Mae on. Bikes were available to borrow, making it quick to reach the market and store. The shared kitchen was a nice option for cooking our own food, something we haven't often found in Thailand. We had everything we needed: hot water, good air con, wifi, free water, and a fridge. Thanks, Malila!

For climbers at crazy horse, Malila is the place to stay. It was the closest accommodation to the crag, an easy walk each day, and the best value around. The kitchen was functional, and bikes made it easy to ride to the market for food and get washing done. Malila is an amazing host. Highly recommend, and I'll be back.

The rooms are simple, but have what you need: a double bed, shower, bathroom, and shared kitchen. Malila Homestay is a cozy home base for a few days in Mae On while climbing, and Malila is a gem. She lends bikes for trips to the market or supermarket, and even had a plate of watermelon waiting when we got back after a long day. We'll return. Thanks, Malila.
