The place has lots of houses and rooms, but they seem short on maintenance. There were only six of us that day, which made it feel even more deserted. The garden is pretty, though it didn’t feel fresh, perhaps because it also needs upkeep, and the room layout is a bit awkward. I stayed anxious after finding lots of black-bottomed fire ants in the bedroom. I’ve been bitten before and had a serious allergic reaction, and ants were getting in through a damaged door frame. There were so many that I had to change rooms. There were geckos too, and the whole place felt frightening. Some houses were designed to look creepy, with climbing plants and hanging roots in front, puppets, darkness, and no lights. In the first room we left, there was a shrine to my grandparents next to the bathroom and at the head of the bed, with the window opening straight onto it. In my opinion, shouldn’t a shrine be near the bathroom? It should be at the front of the resort, where passersby could pay their respects. The 550 baht price was reasonable, and the room had air conditioning, a TV, and a refrigerator.

The owner was friendly, the food was good, and our accommodation was clean. The view was lovely, and the Phetchaburi River was refreshingly cool for a swim. There’s even a special waterslide connecting the resort right to the river.

The setting by the Phetchaburi River is amazing, and the price is reasonable. The rooms are clean, with cool air conditioning and strong water pressure. They have options for solo travelers or couples. The staff and owner were very kind. Highly recommend!

The service was good, and the open space had a beautiful view of the stars. There’s parking out front. But during COVID the room cost 900 baht and was very dusty, with lots of insects going in and out. I even found gecko eggs on the blankets. The hallway was a little hard to get around, and the electrical outlets weren’t convenient to use.

The bathroom was good, and the old TV had a decent picture, but the room smelled musty and there was no proper table to sit at, just a shared surface with the TV. There was one light outside the bathroom and only two power outlets, one by the TV and one beside the bed. I couldn’t find the Wi-Fi password in the room. The single dish meals were reasonably priced. I was on the ground floor of a concrete building, and the price with breakfast seemed a bit high for the room size, perhaps because there aren’t other resorts nearby. The paths and trees around the property could use tidying and maintenance.
