Blue Rabbit Hotel

The breakfast buffet was well prepared, and the service was excellent. A very nice hotel, with lots of restaurants close by.

For the discounted price, this was great value. The design is quite tasteful, the room was a decent size and clean, and despite the bed being a little hard, I slept comfortably. There’s no chiller, but the giant tub/jacuzzi is a nice feature. A few things to keep in mind: there are no lifts, so from the top floor you’ll have four flights of stairs with your bags. The area is a fair way from the center and main attractions, about 25 minutes walking, 50 baht by Grab bike, or 250 baht by car. Convenience stores, laundry, and restaurants are nearby. Some might find the surroundings an eyesore, with abandoned shops and some dodgy massage parlors or girlie bars that may not suit everyone. Still, I found the place a great stay and a good deal if you can look past those drawbacks.

The gym and pool were the best parts for me, and the price was very good. My room was clean and well maintained, and breakfast had a good assortment. The staff seemed overworked and tired, though, and it showed in their expressions and service attitude. Management should review staffing levels. Still, definitely a good place to stay.

Easy to find, and check-in and check-out both went smoothly. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and for the money this hotel is good value. The room was okay, though the freezer compartment cover kept getting in the way of closing the fridge door properly. It’s only a 30 minute drive to khao khitchakut, so I’d recommend it for people heading there.
