For a quiet break, this bayfront place is a good fit. There’s a pool, cool breezes, lovely views, and you can fish right from the shore. The rooms are decent for the price, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to relax. I only wish the grounds were greener and the animals were better managed.

It feels peaceful and close to nature, a good place for families or anyone wanting a break from the busy pace of life. You can sit back, look out at the river and mountains, and go fishing.

We paid 1,000 baht over Labor Day, and the owner was kind enough to let dogs stay for free. The grounds are spacious, shady, quiet, and breezy once you get past the rather long entrance. There aren’t any lights along the way at night, though, which felt a little scary with the nearby houses already asleep. For 1,000 baht, the room had more than I expected: air conditioning, a refrigerator, TV, two towels, and two bottles of water. The air conditioning got icy cold, the TV had clear sound, and the bathroom had separate wet and dry sections. There’s no hair dryer, so bring your own. Seems well suited to families and couples.

The owner looks after the place well, and the room was clean, but it was shabby and had no extra lock inside. The grounds also feel neglected, with unmanaged grass and a wooden bridge that looks close to breaking. There’s just one way in and out, and they’ve built a road that leads nowhere.
