Good value for money, with friendly and helpful reception staff. There are enough deckchairs by the beautiful beach, plus showers, toilets and a restaurant.

The room was okay and had a really big TV. I mentioned it was my birthday, and they left a cake and congratulations on the bed before we arrived. There’s no elevator, so getting to a higher floor might be difficult for some people.

After a long journey and flight, my husband and I arrived with our three-year-old and were told the hotel was fully booked and had no rooms, even though our four-night reservation was confirmed on Booking. I’d never had anything like that happen before. After discussions for about an hour, it suddenly turned out our booking and room were there. Then they gave us a new bill that didn’t match Booking and was three times higher. After more discussion, I got a bill matching Booking, along with a questionable explanation about a system error. Since I’d booked ten months earlier through Booking at a very good price, my husband and I felt it was a scam. It seemed the managers didn’t like that price and were trying either to discourage us from staying or to make us pay three times as much, especially since it was the beginning of January and all the places were already booked. We stayed for four days, but the bad feeling remained. Check-in cost us two hours and a lot of stress.

A simple, small hotel with a lot of charm. Just right for a few days by the sea.
