The private terraces looking over the park and little lake were a lovely part of our stay. In the evenings, large white birds came down to feed there. The nature bungalows are comfortable, and the family who run Baan Mae Ying are helpful and speak French, English, and Thai. They can arrange a bike or car rental, trips, excursions, or a taxi, and they make a great breakfast. We’ve stayed here ourselves and sent visiting family too, and nobody was disappointed. It’s peaceful, away from the tourist crowds, while still a short drive from Phuket’s best beaches. You’ll need transport, but they can help sort that out.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the owners were friendly and professional. Our bungalow was clean and nice, and the four nights felt well worth the price. It’s a quiet spot to get away from tourists, relax by the pool, and listen to nature.

We loved how tucked away this place feels, while still having hosts who can help you figure out what to do around Phuket. They’ll even arrange a taxi from the airport before you arrive. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, with really good beds. Lionel and Ying run a cooking school here, and the traditional breakfast was great; they can also feed you through the rest of the day. There’s a self-service bar, so you can have a drink by the pool in a deckchair. It’s a welcoming place with its own character, and a lovely setting off the beaten track on Phuket.
