Diamond Resort BangTao by Tropiclook Apartment-hotel

The pool has lots of room to unwind, and the resort itself feels quiet and welcoming. The app made booking the free shuttle to the beach and Boat Avenue easy, too. We were impressed with breakfast, especially since the choices changed each day. We arrived late on our first night, so ate at the restaurant, where the food came out hot and tasted great. Room service was just as good when we ordered it later. Our suite was spotless, with clean sheets and towels every day. We were also given a pool-view deluxe suite as an upgrade. From arrival, the staff were so helpful, taking our bags straight to the room. When I left a few things behind while packing in a hurry, they messaged me promptly and kept everything safe until I could pick it up. A really lovely week at Diamond Resort Phuket.

The security guard at the front gate was a daily bright spot. He greeted us so cheerfully that it set a nice tone for the day. We stayed for a month, in a privately owned unit, and the gardeners, cleaners, and other staff were all consistently warm and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, with tropical plants and bright flowers around the courtyard pool. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a decent buffet with plenty of coffee and a good selection, though nothing special. I tried it once, then chose to eat at home or at a couple of nearby breakfast spots. I was hoping to use the gym and sauna regularly, but the gym felt dated and could use new equipment or a bigger space. I joined a local gym in Bang Jo near my Muay Thai gym instead. The sauna was inside the bathroom beside the restaurant, which guests and staff used through the morning and day. After breakfast, the washroom often smelled unpleasant, and the sauna's heat made it worse. Opening the door to air it out didn't help much, so I stopped using it. A renovated gym and separate men's and women's saunas in a proper wellness area would be a big improvement. I'd still gladly come back. Next time I'd use an outside gym or sauna.

Nam was so welcoming, thank you! I’d happily return for a longer stay. Bang Tao feels tucked away and less crowded than Patong, which makes this resort a lovely quiet retreat. The breakfast really stood out, especially the pastries and bread. There isn't as much choice as at some five-star resorts, but the quality is just as good, maybe better.

Nan, the Guest Relations Manager, really made the stay special. She went out of her way to keep things smooth and memorable, and the whole team was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The facilities were well kept and suited our family holiday, while the reliable shuttle made getting around easy. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly recommend the property and come back.
