The room rate was very reasonable for the experience and service, and I’d gladly stay again and recommend the hotel. Its facilities were well maintained, and the shared spaces felt pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast didn’t have a huge selection, but the food was excellent. At check-in, the staff were exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to sort out every issue and accommodate my requests. Everyone else I encountered was friendly and welcoming too, with genuine hospitality.

The staff at reception gave me such a warm welcome, and I’m grateful they upgraded my room. I hadn’t expected it, and the pool-view room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, with a nice bed and sofa. They also set up a birthday surprise and a very nice cake. The beachfront is beautiful, and I really enjoyed the sunset, weather, and atmosphere. There are lots of activities, and I loved the paddle SUP board and pool. Dinner at Ocean kitchen restaurant was very nice, with good food and kind service. Special thanks to Khun “AF”, the short-haired lady waitress, for looking after me. I also got a second birthday cake there, thank you so much. At the Breakfast restaurant, I enjoyed the wide variety, especially the dim sum and dessert pastry conner. Everything was delicious, and the staff were lovely too. Special thanks to Khun “Pun”, who always came by to take care of things and clear the empty plates. I hope to come back. Thank you for everything 🙏☺️

I only just had the energy to write this. On our last night, I got the worst food poisoning of my life from the in-room dining, no exaggeration. I’ve been to Thailand many times and never had food poisoning before. My partner and I had eaten the same food throughout the trip, but he didn’t eat or drink anything from that final room-service meal. Thank goodness, because otherwise we could both have been in serious trouble. I hope the resort looks into its food and hygiene management. I still gave the resort three stars because it was quiet and comfortable for a relaxing stay, the price was affordable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. It seems better suited to toddlers aged two and up than to babies. There were a huge number of flies outside our room on the second night, which we were told was due to rainy season. We switched to a ground-floor room and it was fine. Maybe avoid balcony rooms during rainy season.

The beach is reached by a scenic path, and the setting is peaceful. The water current is strong, so only swim if you’re a good swimmer. Food quality was great, but J restaurant needs attention to dinner serving times and proper lighting, and service was pretty slow. It’s a great peaceful vacation spot with kids, with lots for them to do. Don’t miss the Kid's Play House. Hospitality was exceptional, and the warm, attentive staff made us feel welcome. The pool access and spacious rooms had been freshly refurbished. Top marks for Marriott Management.
