Naiyang Place Phuket Airport

For a quick airport stop, this is a decent budget place. The property was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. There’s a free shuttle to the airport, one way, and the location is convenient for getting there. There are a few drawbacks. The pool is tiny, and you have to buy a dental kit because it isn’t included. I couldn’t find a locker or safe in my room. Transport apps like 12Go don’t seem to handle the pickup location well, so rides may cost extra. There’s no 7-Eleven or other convenience shop nearby either, so you’ll need a Grab to get to the night market or beach area. A practical choice for a short transit stay, though not so convenient if you want nearby attractions or full hotel services.

Service was very good, and the airport shuttle makes the location handy. I didn’t hear any planes, but the beach is a long way off, as Google Maps shows. The first room smelled of cold smoke, though the replacement was better. It can get a bit loud at night if the neighbors move their chairs.

It’s a relaxing place, and the beach, bars, and restaurants aren’t too far, though you’ll need to catch a Bolt since they’re not walkable. At first I thought I was in the middle of nowhere. A couple of minutes in a rideshare and the city comes alive.

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet for the price, and the staff made us feel welcome. It’s a short drive from the airport, with a free shuttle too. There are only a few parking spots, but in low season I had no trouble finding one. My flight was delayed by a day, and although my booking was non-refundable, they let me move it to the following day at no extra cost. That kindness and hospitality meant a lot. I’d give it five stars for that alone.
