Radisson Blu Resort, Phuket Mai Khao Beach

We only stayed one night, but everything went smoothly and we had a really nice time. The room was huge, clean, and had an amazing bed. Everyone was lovely, and the food was excellent at dinner, breakfast, and lunch. The mango sticky rice was especially delicious.

The restaurant was a real highlight, with lots of dishes to choose from and very attentive staff. The chef is talented and easy to talk to, which gives the place a great feel. The hotel itself is lovely too. A fantastic stay, and highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mai Khao Beach is quiet and uncrowded, which made it feel like a great place to properly unwind. You can see the sea from the hotel, and the beach is right across the road. The hotel has just opened, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable in a peaceful setting. The food was excellent, especially the pizza. It’s also pet-friendly, one of the very few places in Phuket where pets are welcome.

The deposit issue completely spoiled my stay. I had to leave 3k for every night, and was first told it would be returned within 7 days. When I called after that, they said it could take 7-14 days. After 14 days I called again and was told, “we have canceled it already, please call your bank.” They took the deposit, so returning it should be their responsibility. The whole process was badly handled. The gym is really solid, the location is quiet and nice, and the rooms are lovely. It’s a shame the deposit experience ruined everything for me.
