The lady doesn’t speak English, but she’s always smiling, and I liked that. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend booking here.

There were ants in my bathroom, which was annoying whenever I left food on the table. I also had trouble sleeping because of the light and noise at night. The place is decent for the price, though I’m not sure I’d return. The room and bathroom were clean, and housekeeping came every other day with fresh towels. The location worked well for getting to two train lines, and it was easy to call a Grab from the alley. Lots of street food, spas, and a 7-Eleven are nearby. There’s no lift, and my top-floor room meant hauling luggage up and down very steep stairs by myself. It was frustrating. If you have a lot of bags, I’d suggest asking for a lower floor, though I don’t know if that’s possible. The fridge and kitchen are on the ground floor, which was inconvenient from upstairs.

Our host was friendly and accommodating, and replied quickly when we had questions. House 116 is handy for the BTS. Our room was cozy, but the walls were thin, so we could hear people outside. There’s no elevator, and the steep stairs made carrying a large suitcase to our third-floor room difficult.

It’s more like a guesthouse than a hotel, with no receptionist. There’s a living room, dining area, and small kitchen on the first floor. You pick up and return the key in a box. No lift or TV. The place is cheap, clean, and comfortable, but room service didn’t leave tissues or extra mineral water after cleaning. Pratunam takes a 20-minute walk, and there’s a mini market nearby.
