Sweet Bungalow

The hosts were warm and really helpful, and the pool was spotless. Outside, there’s a lovely natural little path among lime trees, flowers and stepping stones. The cute rooms have everything you need. It’s tucked away from the busy area but well situated, with bars and such about a 15-minute walk away. Such good value!

The rooms seemed not to have been looked after for days, maybe weeks. They were dusty, there were cobwebs in the bathroom, sand on the floor and mold growing inside the kettle. For two of us, the coffee tray had just one coffee, no sugar, and one bottle each of shower gel and shampoo. The WiFi password didn’t work either. Management and customer care were poor. When we arrived just after midnight, our first room had no running water. The manager said she’d send her boyfriend, who turned up drunk and could barely stand. After waiting ten minutes, we were told to move next door, but that room also had no water. We moved a third time and found running water, but no air conditioning, so we ended up going back to the second room for AC and using the third to shower.

Paul and Tak were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. Can recommend.

Paul was a very welcoming host. The place was quiet, clean and super friendly, and I’d definitely stay again. Thanks for the hospitality.
