Thai Studio Condotel 777 Apartments are located next to the longest and cleanest beach

The west-facing room has the best views in the complex and is quite comfortable. It has a two-plate cooktop, instant continuous hot water and ear conditions. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials.

The 777 Condo is a large complex, with two pools, one big and one small, plus a tennis court. It’s a quiet spot for relaxing, and we had a very enjoyable week there. We booked through AIR BNB and stayed in a new, bright and airy second-floor apartment overlooking the smaller pool. At around 30 square metres, it suited a couple well. The host was helpful, and check-in went smoothly, though we were asked for a 3000 baht deposit on arrival that hadn’t been mentioned when booking. There are no ATMS nearby, so we had to pay it later. They showed us photos of the water and electricity meter readings, which would be settled at checkout. Everything in the apartment was new. The double bed was comfortable, and there was also a good-sized pull-out sofa bed, handy if you have kids. The cupboard had enough storage for two. We appreciated the washing machine, clothes hanger, ironing board and iron. The small Smart TV had internet access for subscription services, and the AC was quiet and easy to control. The bathroom is small but practical, with a shower, toilet and basin. The shower has a standard head and a rain head, with good pressure and temperature control from the panel. The kitchenette had a large fridge with a good-sized freezer, sink, two-ring electric cooktop, exhaust fan, microwave, and plenty of pots, pans and utensils. There’s a small table beside it for meals or computer use. We ate most of ours on the balcony, which has a table and two chairs and looks onto the small pool and greenery. The main problem was the Wi-Fi. The permanent connection wasn’t installed yet, and the temporary setup was hopeless, so we mostly used mobile data. Some units are still being finished, but we didn’t hear any work. The corridors were dark at night, with incomplete lighting and the working lights flickering. The shops planned for the front of the complex, including a pharmacy and mini mart, were still unoccupied or closed as of November 2023. There’s a small family shop around the corner for essentials. Nearby, Yum Yum is across the road and Naina is around the corner. Both restaurants are good, and Naina’s burger was one of the best in Phuket. There isn’t much else close by. Mai Khao high street is under a ten-minute walk, with a Mini Big C, 711, restaurants, massage shops and the odd bar. Mai Khao beach is another ten minutes on foot. Cheap motorbike taxis with sidecars are easy to find, and a ride from 777 Condo to the main road, or back, costs 20 baht per person. We’d recommend the condo if you want somewhere quiet to unwind.

I had a lovely apartment with a lake view and swans. There are plenty of cafes nearby, and a gorgeous beach without crowds of tourists. Great place.

Roman was really helpful, and I’d honestly come back. The condo is comfortable, good value, and has a very nice pool. It isn’t fully finished, though, and that’s about all the facilities: no spa, sauna or laundry. It’s secluded too, so you’ll need to walk or grab a bike for restaurants and groceries.
