Sea & Sea Villa Resort Sangaroon

We stopped for one night on the drive to Phuket. The place is easy to park at, with covered parking, and it's not far off the main road. Our room was large and very clean, and the property is well cared for. The food was good, with a simple local flavor. I didn't find it salty, more on the sweet side, but still delicious.

The only thing that wasn't to our taste was the food, which was too salty. Otherwise, it's a quiet spot on a wide white sandy beach. Rooms are very spacious, with a kitchen area, and the bathrooms have a shower plus a separate bath. Everything was clean and well maintained, pools included.

We loved our stay. It's right on a beautiful stretch of beach, and wonderfully quiet. The kitchen was surprisingly good, especially since we were the only guests that night.

The food was good and affordable, made with quality ingredients and not too greasy or spicy, which can be an issue with local food. Staff were authentically friendly, helpful, accommodating, and professional. They spoke good English and listened to my broken Thai, sometimes understanding it ;-). I rented the upper part of corner villa C7 for a week during the festive season. It was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with a large roof terrace, balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, a small kitchenette, and a separate bedroom of sorts behind a sliding glass panel. I have only positive things to say and highly recommend it.
