Numhom Resort

I’ve stayed here for quick weekends and for stretches of up to three weeks, and the owners have helped me far beyond what I’d expect from a hotel. They’ve treated me with such decency, and I’ll always be grateful. The staff are consistently kind and helpful too. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. The resort makes a handy base for Huai Kha Kaeng, Hu Pa Tat, The Big Tree, Kao Pla Ra, and Uthai Thani. It’s close enough to Uthai Thani to be convenient, while still having the rural feel of a smaller town and good amenities. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with different accommodation options. The 4/7 cafe is right next door, with great food and a good space for parties and larger groups.

We booked dinner at the property since there aren’t other restaurants close by. Everyone worked hard to prepare vegetarian dishes for us, and they were tasty and good value. Breakfast the next morning was nicely prepared too. Our bungalow was clean, roomy, private, and comfortable, right in front of a small pond. Numhom welcomed us warmly when we arrived, along with her family. She was a kind hostess who spoke great English. The place is in a very quiet part of the Thai countryside. We were driving from Kanchanaburi to Mae Sot, so it made an excellent stop on the way north, and we felt very welcome. Highly recommended!

Everyone was so friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. There’s a restaurant right beside the resort, so you don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to eat even if you’re new to the area. This has been my best experience in Thailand so far.

The owner was so friendly, and we’ll definitely come back. The rooms were clean and good, with a comfortable bed. There are convenience stores nearby, along with a noodle food stall. Definitely recommend it!
