We couldn't get a place for two cyclists. We were riding along the Mekong River and were worn out after being sick, but the hotel couldn't find anywhere for our two touring bikes. The whole hotel seemed empty when we arrived, yet reception said every room was full. We got a refund and stayed elsewhere. It would've been easy to find a small spot for the bikes, but they didn't seem interested in helping.

I've been here three times over the years. It's a useful base for exploring, with the river just across the road. There are markets around, though you'll ideally need transport. The room had a balcony, but it rained both evenings I stayed, so I didn't really get to use it. The shower wasn't hot, but I was only there for two days and put up with it. This visit I also struggled with the upstairs room because of my health and age. There was no lift, which hadn't been a problem on earlier visits, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues.

The room looked a little old, and the AC took a while to cool it down. Apart from that, we had a nice stay. For a village, the location was good, near restaurants and with a pretty river view. The staff were quite helpful and gave us an extra keycard.

From the balcony and the room itself, the Mekong view was excellent. The hotel was modern, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was nice, and free use of the bicycles was a welcome bonus. There's also roof access for a good view if your room doesn't have a full one. A solid standard hotel at a reasonable price.
