Le Park Hotel

The location is really good, and the room was clean with good air conditioning. But the WiFi was terrible. When we asked for help, the receptionist just said, “I don’t know,” and wasn’t helpful at all. Reception really needs to help instead of passing the problem along. They overcharged us for ironing, and our clothes came back wrinkled anyway. We had to argue to get our money back. Breakfast was really bad and not worth the price.

It’s good till... it’s right beside a club or bar, so good luck getting to sleep early.

At Le Park Hotel in Thung Song, Thailand, the rooms were spacious and spotless, with free bottled water. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were clean, and the housekeeping crew were friendly. The shower had great hot water and pressure, and the air conditioning got icy cold. The internet was painfully slow, like dial-up in 1995. A website could take 3 to 5 minutes to load. A kind staff member showed me the WiFi in a secret meeting room, which was much faster and saved my work-from-hotel plans. There’s a park across the street with a padded walking track and exercise machines. Food options are an easy stroll away, and the lobby has snacks like 7-11 for late-night cravings. The elevator is slow, so take the stairs if you’re in a hurry. One thing to know: the lively bar next door plays live music late into the night. I could sleep through it, but if you can’t, bring earplugs or join the party. It’s not a five-star palace, but it has clean rooms, a nice staff, a good location, and a view of the park. For the price, I’d book again. Thanks for a great stay, Le Park crew! Would I come back? You bet your pad thai I would.

The first room they gave me had a broken keycard holder and water on the floor from a leaking shower spray. The whole room smelled bad because of it. The second room was decent, but it felt like sleeping outdoors: I could hear every passing car and motorbike. A nightclub next door stays open until 02:00 am, and the sound carries through the building, making sleep impossible. We asked for a refund for the second night and didn’t get one. I understand the policy... The rooms just aren’t soundproof, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want a good night’s rest.
