Twin Peaks

Location is the main reason I'd stay here again. Night markets along Chang Klan Rd are just steps away, the Old Town is 20 minutes away, and Tha Phae gate and walking street are 25 minutes away. Nimman is about 45 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by Grab car. Even so close to busy Chang Klan road, the complex stays quiet. There are several restaurants on Chang Klan Rd and beyond, plus an onsite restaurant. At least two dozen massage shops are within 200 yards. There's security inside and out, a reception desk, and restrooms next to the restaurant. It's handicap doable and recommended. Everything worked well during my stay in this comfortable, quiet condo complex. There's a pool, but I didn't use it because it didn't look very clean. There was a strong chlorine smell as you walked by, apparently to neutralize the bad stuff. Other people were using it and seemed OK. 🤣😃

The location was good, but during our week-long timeshare stay, the units were a problem. The air conditioning in our first unit was very dirty, so we asked to move. The AC in the next unit was okay, but the Teflon pan's coating was in such bad shape that I was afraid to use the kitchenware. A lot of parts inside the unit need renovation.

The reception staff are very helpful and can arrange room cleaning and fresh linen whenever it suits you. These condo apartments are tidy and well laid out, with comfortable furniture and a good amount of space. Twin Peaks also makes it easy to reach the main roads out to rural areas, mountain villages, and other attractions by car or motorcycle. For places nearby, Changklan Road's shops and restaurants are close, with the night market a 3-minute walk away. The upscale restaurants along the Ping river are about a 10-15 minute walk, and the Old city, moat and ramparts are around 10-12 minutes on foot.

A well-managed building in a great location, and certainly one of Chiang Mai's most sought-after.
