We stopped here for one night on the way to Koh Kood and had a really pleasant stay. Everyone was kind and welcoming.

A very new cottage-style place, with a nice room for a reasonable price.

The rooms looked modern and were clean. The water ran slowly, and the other main issue was that after we asked the maid to leave water bottles and refresh the towels while we were out, she cleaned the whole room and put the pillows back on the bed from the floor.

I was surprised to find a room of this standard in Trat, though that was probably my own ignorance. We got a separate villa for 1300 baht, with a pool, and some of the best service I've had in Thailand. I'd highly recommend it if you miss the ferry or need a day off koh chang.

We keep coming back here. The rooms are clean, and we usually pick one of the four little house-style units on the left because it's handy for the parking lot. There’s also a four-story block on the right with lots of rooms, but no elevator. No breakfast is served, which suits us since we sleep in and don't eat it. Sometimes we stop by the hotel cafe for its delicious coffee and American breakfast.
