We spent two nights here before taking a day trip to Koh Chang, staying in two different room styles. Both were good, one with a parking spot and the other with a front verandah. We liked the verandah room best since we could have dinner with a view. The rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent. Most reviews seem to say the same, and I'd recommend the resort.

The cheapest room was 500thb and came with a fridge and aircon. There's an in-house restaurant, and it was quiet at night, which worked well for cyclists. The Wi-Fi had no internet during my stay, and there wasn't a mirror in the bathroom for shaving.

The room was great and I slept well, but breakfast was a disaster. No cereal or milk for coffee, just powdered coffee, watery orange juice, and a cat jumping onto the table to beg. The toaster didn't work, so I ate nothing. I've stayed here many times. Maybe with the price going up, they could put on a proper breakfast? The gym also needs a crosstrainer. It only has weights.

The place is good value, with a nice clean house, comfy beds, a large bathroom, and a very good restaurant that isn't expensive. It's around 3km from the centre, though. Dutch bicycle couple.
