Siam Beach Resort Koh Kood

We stayed in the pool villa zone in FV6. The room looked just like the photos, was clean and beautiful, and still felt quite new. The beach was even lovelier than we expected. The food was average, with limited single-dish options and fewer dinner choices than we'd hoped for. Breakfast had the usual essentials, which was enough for us since we weren't expecting a full spread. The massage shop had good prices, but it's always busy, so booking ahead is a good idea. There are only three therapists, and they were all friendly and lovely. I wish there were clear no-smoking signs in the lobby, since smoking shouldn't be allowed there.

It was lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves at this beachfront hotel, where small bungalows sit right by the sea. There's a little shop on the property for essentials like drinks, alcohol, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, cigarettes, and snacks. Breakfast had a wide selection, including fresh fruit and sweets, plus the basics for a proper meal such as sandwiches or fruit salads. The front office and service ran smoothly: we were welcomed, checked in without trouble, and given the information we needed. The bungalow was small and a bit old, but daily towel changes and bottled water kept things comfortable. I stayed four days and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.

The staff made us feel cared for the whole time, always greeting us with warm smiles and being genuinely helpful. My family and I had a fantastic stay at Siam Beach Resort Koh Kood. It's peaceful and beautiful, and the grounds are very well looked after. Everything felt comfortable and thoughtfully handled, and the experience was better than I expected. We'd love to come back. I'm glad I didn't stay, and the beach is easy to reach from plenty of other resorts nearby. The location itself is beautiful, but the resort felt run down and not clean. The area right behind the bungalow was especially filthy. I also had the worst mango sticky rice of my life, even after spending 12 weeks in Thailand. There are both very basic and more luxurious rooms, so be very careful about what you book and where. I reserved the highest room category on Agoda, but the confirmation came back for the lowest. I contacted the hotel to sort out the mistake, yet when I arrived I was offered a completely different room in a very poor location that wasn't worth the price. I didn't stay. The booking went wrong at every stage, which would justify one star, but the team processed my refund professionally and efficiently, so I'm leaving a more balanced review.
