Baan Na Kang Tong

The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the rice field setting is charming. With better communication and management, this resort could easily be 4-5 stars. The field, one of its main attractions, had already been harvested when I visited. That can be seasonal, but the reservation staff should have told me there might be no rice field view. I also called before arriving in the late afternoon to ask about dinner and learned only then that the restaurant was closed that day. On another evening, the board said it was open until 6 p.m., but it had shut by the time I got there at 5:20, so I had to order food delivery. Construction noise started early in the morning, with no advance notice either. Some room features were awkward or incomplete: setting up the Wi-Fi was inconvenient, and the middle door lock was needlessly complicated. The design itself is a matter of taste and didn't affect my rating. But the steep, narrow stairs felt difficult and potentially unsafe, and having every restroom and washroom in outdoor areas was very inconvenient, especially at night.

Breakfast was simple, but thoughtfully made and really nice. The staff were helpful, and everything else felt pleasant or reasonably comfortable. I spent one night in late August 2025 at "Baan Na Kiang Dao," in a two-bedroom unit. The rooms weren't large, but they were comfortable enough. The rice field was lush and green, and the atmosphere was lovely. The bridge from the parking area to the room could be improved, and the air conditioning upstairs smelled bad, the one thing I didn't like. It's a good choice for a quiet 1-2 night stay if you want to enjoy nature or read somewhere peaceful.

Breakfast was very basic, with few choices and coffee that had no taste. The room felt far too expensive for its small size and limited bed space. Eating was awkward too, since we had to sit on the floor beside our shoes for dinner and snacks. The toilet was outside the main living area, so privacy was lacking.

I only made a café stop on our trip, but the setting looked lovely and peaceful, right among the fields.
