We were meant to start our holiday here before heading to the islands, but the booking turned into a mess. My girlfriend and I tried to sort it out by email, and I even offered to come by in person, but the hotel didn't want that. They later said they were cancelling the nights and would issue a chargeback. That didn't happen: our credit card was still charged, and when we followed up, they said there was nothing they could do. I have the messages in writing and will raise this on all platforms. We had tried to book through the hotel's own website more than four months before arrival. After entering our details and confirming, no booking confirmation came through, and contacting them via the site didn't work. The first email confirmation arrived only on the day we were due to arrive, by which point we'd already arranged somewhere else. I found the management dubious and unfriendly, and feel we were lied to and put off.

The price for what you get was great, and the staff were very friendly. We also had an amazing sea view. Before leaving, we arranged our airport ride back through the staff. For a small fee, they got us safely to BKK in a high-quality SUV.

The room and pool looked nice, and the people seemed friendly. But the room had such a strong mold smell that it affected my breathing right away. I couldn't bear it and left less than two hours after checking in. I lost the money, but it was worth it to avoid staying there. If mold bothers you or clean air matters to you, I'd advise against booking.

You get good value here, and the location is hard to beat. The beach is just a one-minute walk away.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and there's a rooftop pool that's okay. It's close to the centre, with about a 10-minute walk along the beach to Walking Street. My deluxe sea-view room had a 40⁰ view, though it felt a little cramped and the balcony was small. It was clean and reasonably modern, and I'd stay again.
