In Old Town, it's a quiet, safe place to sleep, close to the train station and lots of things to see, eat, and buy. The fan rooms get hot and aren't fancy, but it's cute, cheap, and had what I needed.

The owner, Vanida, is wonderful and does so much for her guests. It's a proper backpackers hostel, a bit eccentric but really great. Right by the river in the old town, with a food market across the way and restaurants and coffee houses close by.

The location is really convenient, but I was told to leave my room at 11 am because another guest was checking in and the cleaner needed to prepare it. My checkout time was noon. Booking.com listed check-in as 1 pm, so I think guests should be allowed to stay until checkout instead of being asked to leave early. Just a note for future guests.

The price for a dorm bed was 180. It was a good place to stay, with a nice woman and warm water, though there were lots of mosquitoes and no mosquito net.

The rooms are old, but that adds to the charm and makes it feel like home. The lady was very friendly and helpful.
