Getting around by bike was handy for seeing the city, and there’s a nice lake and park nearby. Guests can borrow bicycles, though some are in better shape than others. The hotel has a nice style, comfortable rooms and good Wi-Fi, but parts of the decor are a bit worn. The shower took some figuring out at first, though the water pressure was good. Reception staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was good, if somewhat repetitive. You can reach the train station by walking across the tracks, if you’re brave enough.

We had a wonderful stay with our dogs, and the big grassy area gave them plenty of room to run and play. At 500 baht a night, this pet-friendly place is excellent value. We’ll definitely come back.

The hotel has a nice, somewhat traditional look, with a lovely view of the lake. Breakfast was nice too.

The staff were lovely and quick to respond, but the room’s condition was a huge letdown compared with the listing. Cleanliness needs urgent attention, and the property should consider a refurbishment. The air conditioner was filthy and had black mold, and the bathroom was even worse. The bedding smelled of body odour, and the linen was worn out. This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I liked the Esan-style decor and having a balcony. It was easy to get to the lake for a morning or evening jog, and I had a good time here.
