Hop Inn Udonthani

The room itself was satisfactory, much like rooms at other places. My disappointment was the check-in: as a member, I was told early check-in wasn't possible, and had to accept a time even later than the standard one. I chose this property for its convenience before an early morning flight and just wanted to rest when I arrived. That didn't work out.

Everything worked and it was clean, but the design was tasteless and gave the place more of a jail feel. The mattress was neither too hard nor really soft, just laid on a hard base. I tried it once and wouldn't return. The price was good, so I can't complain too much. You'll need Bold to get into the city.

There was more than enough parking when I stayed on a weekday, and the staff were friendly. The rooms are a little older than at other branches but still good enough, and the value is good as always. It's not right in the center or on the main road, which has the upside of making it quieter than most other Hop Inns. A 7-Eleven is just 100 meters away.

The comfortable bed is the main reason I like staying at Hop Inn. This branch has the usual standard I expect, with a clean area, soft towel, and plenty of parking. It's normally located in the city center. In the morning there's only free fresh coffee. Staff won't take your belongings, so you have to carry them yourself from the car to your room.
