Prajaktra City Hostel

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. It’s a good hostel right in the centre. We’ll definitely come back. Khop khun Ka🙏

The room, towels, and linens were all very clean, and there was plenty of room for luggage. It had a very firm bed, bedside tables with outlets, a small safe, a balcony with a city view, a drying rack and hangers, seating, a fridge that stays on, and a kettle with cups. Check-in was quick and they let us in a little early. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly. Downstairs there’s a nice seating area indoors and out, plus a hot and cold water dispenser, microwave, snacks and drinks, and laundry machines. It’s a decent location near the Vietnamese weekend market, a coffee shop, and lots of places to eat. There’s also an elevator. Good value for the money, and I’d recommend it.

The superior room was barely average, so don’t expect much. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee, and they don’t offer either at the lobby, which seemed unusual for a hotel. In my room, and apparently the others too, a gap of about 2-3 cm between the balcony door frame and wall let in hot air. The air conditioning couldn’t cool the room down.

It’s reasonably central and there are a couple of restaurants just around the corner and across the street. For a nice price, you get a decent hostel with a lift, a large car park out front, and a wheelchair ramp.
