The staff were friendly and spoke good English, and breakfast was good. It’s a clean guesthouse with comfortable rooms and a spacious bathroom, good value if you’re coming for a few nights. The location is handy, about a 10-minute walk from the main train station and the market. I recommend it.

The lady was lovely and friendly, and tried her best to accommodate us. The beds were comfortable, WiFi worked, and the location was nice, with plenty of markets around and a 7-eleven around the corner. It’s right by the train tracks, but the noise wasn’t as bad as we expected. We booked through Agoda, but on arrival were told our room wasn’t ready. We could use another room for a night and switch the following day. That first room was spacious, but had a shared bathroom with a door that wouldn’t lock. The AC worked, though we were advised not to set it below 23 because it might leak. It was alright, but we’d hoped to get what we booked from the start. The next day we changed to a room with its own bathroom and stayed there for two more nights. It was a big room with a spacious bathroom and private balcony.

I booked a room through Trivago and had confirmation, but when I arrived to check in, there was no room for me. They said I’d have to pay again if I wanted to stay. Be aware of these scammers!

After checking the place in person, I booked three nights in September 2019 through an online travel agent, requesting the large bed I’d been shown. The first room was like an office, enclosed by glass partitions with curtains covering two and a half sides. It had no windows or ventilation, and light from the fully lit reception and lounge came through the curtains. The air conditioner barely worked, recirculating stale, increasingly damp air all night. The bathroom was nice and large. They said the room I’d inspected wouldn’t be available until the next day. The upstairs double room for the following two nights was much more pleasant, though there was train noise and the bathroom was much smaller. Housekeeping was very good, and everything was clean. Breakfast was simple, eggs and toast with a small display of tomato slices on lettuce. The accommodation met my expectations, and the operator and staff were pleasant.
