The location was awful for us: the nearest 7-Eleven was a long walk, there were hardly any restaurants, the area felt deserted, and getting a taxi was very difficult. Each room only got one free bottle of water per day. I deeply regret booking this place. At checkout, staff said towels were missing and wanted to take the cost from our deposit. We went back to the room to talk about it, and their attitude was terrible. They insisted after a few minutes that they’d sent new towels, but we’d been out early and returned late, so we had no idea. We were rushing to catch our ferry and decided to pay and move on. Then a female staff member yelled at us aggressively and rudely, repeatedly saying, “wait a minute, wait a minute.” They took about ten minutes to deduct the money, leaving us with only 400 yuan from the deposit. They gave no receipt, and we can’t remember whether the original deposit was 2000 or 3000 yuan. I’ve never had a staff member yell at a customer like that. I’m speechless.

On my fourth trip to Thailand, we tried renting a villa instead of staying in hotels, and I’m so glad we found Good Night resort. It’s a beautiful, spacious place away from the beaten track. The staff were the nicest and most helpful I’ve met anywhere, even though I fly around the world. Our rooms were cleaned every day. I’ve found my place in Thailand.

The location wasn’t convenient, about 40 minutes from Patong and 20 minutes from the old town center. The apartment also looked nothing like its advertised size: Booking.com listed 180m², but ours was closer to 60m². It consisted of two rooms with transparent walls facing identical units, so we could see what the neighbors were doing and they could see us. We asked for a refund because of the misleading listing, but the host and Booking.com both denied it. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Please avoid this pool villa hotel. I booked a pool villa through Agoda, which listed 1 X Pool Villa, Garden view, 270 m²/2906 ft², non-smoking, with 2 single beds, 2 single beds, 1 double bed, 1 double bed, and 1 single bed. At check-in, the property gave me only one bedroom with a king-size bed and wouldn’t refund my reservation.
