The Mooring Resort Hotel

Ao Yon beach is shallow and calm, a great fit for families and children, and good for kayaking or SUP. The Mooring is at the far end of the beach. There's a restaurant next door at the Cove, and we ordered some really delicious dinners from Laey lay. We also rode a motorbike to nearby Khaokad, where we found fresh juice, very nice food, and some souvenirs. We were looking for a quiet beachfront bungalow for our family and were so glad we came across The Mooring Resort. We emailed to ask about a room for four and got a detailed reply explaining that their beachfront bungalow was finishing renovation and could be reserved for us. Joy sent lots of pictures, which helped us feel sure about the choice. When we arrived, everything was just right. The bungalow had what we needed, including our own beachfront spot to sit under a tree and watch the sunset. The rooms were very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the outdoor area was great for sunbathing and having meals. Joy and Woonsen at reception helped us arrange a long tail boat for snorkelling, a massage, a motorbike, and groceries. We only had five days for a short beach break, and I was so happy we spent them here. Thanks to Joy and Woonsen for all their help, and wishing you both the best.

The peaceful spot on Ao Yon beach was great for a quiet break away from crowds, while still being convenient for exploring Phuket. We could walk to the beach in under ten seconds, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was so peaceful. The beachfront spot in Phuket was perfect. The pool was great when we didn't want to get salty, and we could use paddle boards and kayaks too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with great recommendations and ready to sort out whatever we needed. They clearly cared about making the stay special. Our room stayed spotless throughout, and the beach view was breathtaking. We just got back from the most relaxing vacation and are already talking about returning. This place went beyond what we expected. Highly recommend it for a peaceful beach getaway with lovely service.

Joy, May, and Woonsen made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and kept going out of their way during the week to make everything comfortable and enjoyable. Their exceptional care is what I especially wanted to mention. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow at The Mooring Resort for a week, and it felt like a little piece of heaven.
