Hotel Vatan is a comfortable choice in the heart of Dushanbe, with a calm atmosphere and courteous, helpful staff who make you feel welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, giving us a relaxing place to return to after exploring. Its central position makes it easy to reach parks, major sights, and cultural landmarks, which works well for both business and sightseeing. For the comfort and service, it offers good value in the city. A reliable option for visitors looking for convenience, cleanliness, and friendly hospitality in Tajikistan’s capital. Highly recommended.

The hospitality was great, and the place was clean. It’s downtown, with lots of coffee shops on the nearby streets, and the staff were very friendly.

The room they eventually gave me was better, but the shower was faulty: its adjustment lever wasn’t attached properly and kept falling off. There was gaffer tape all over the floors, and the wall-mounted hair dryer had a US plug that couldn’t fit the European-style socket. At first they tried to put me in the apartments next door, where the bathroom was across the corridor from the room, in a hallway people use to get to breakfast. I flatly refused, though they kept insisting it was just as good as an ensuite. Finally, at 20h, a room in the main building became available. Avoid this place!

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were large and clean. Right in the city center, and the price was the most affordable compared with other hotels in the same area. I recommend it 👍

The location is great, but the hotel only occupies the first level of a multi-story building, so there are no views. The rooms along one whole side looked straight onto a brick wall. The front desk wasn’t helpful with tourist questions, and breakfast was disappointing.
