Food was one of the best parts of our stay: a moderate choice, with enough variety throughout, and no problems there. Our rooms were always tidy and clean, though the shared areas could've been cleaner. The hotel itself is quite old, with lots of broken or non-working things. The cocktails were a gamble. We ordered three different ones from the menu, and none tasted the same from one order to the next. The bartenders didn't measure ingredients, often left something out, or used something else. The animation schedule was lively, but could be too much. Loud disco music during dinner, which we couldn't get away from, happened almost every other day. The pool and beach were okay. Reserving sunbeds with towels is officially prohibited, but the staff didn't enforce it. When the pool opened, all the loungers were taken even though only five people were in the whole pool area. Most staff were polite but didn't take much initiative. At lunch and dinner someone took our first drink order right away, then usually nobody came back to ask if we'd like another. On our first day we asked for a room safe and for the lights to be fixed, since only two of five worked. We reminded them twice, but nothing happened. We still had a nice stay despite the minor hassles, but next time we'll probably pick another hotel.
