The Corniche Palace was where we ended up after a booking problem with the organizer left us without a room when we got off the ferry. This was the first hotel on our Rallye-Tour of Tunisia. The “Palace” had clearly seen better days, probably back in the mid-80s. Nearly everything in the bathroom was kind of broken. At least the beds were okay and it was somewhat clean.

Bizerte is a lovely city, clean, safe, and full of charm. I'd recommend a visit to everyone, especially for its amazing natural places to discover. It's definitely worth the trip.

The hotel was dirty, the staff weren't helpful, the food was horrible, and there was loud, horrible music playing very late. We also saw drunk men fighting. My friend was given a room with a broken AC, and it was boiling hot. We asked for it to be fixed; they said they'd send someone, but three hours later nothing had been done. When we went back to reception, they said the AC couldn't be fixed that night. We asked to move my friend, but they said the hotel was completely full, which wasn't true. In the end, they suggested she sleep in my room. We asked for a refund, but they said that wasn't their policy and they couldn't do it. They kept telling us we had to accept that this was how things worked there. Please avoid staying here if you can.

There are a lot of fights here because people get drunk. The guards behave very badly and don't do their jobs properly.
